Where do you go when your faith is registering "low"?  There are ways to give our self a boost during times when we feel we are invisible to God or even our family and friends.   This happened to many people in the Bible, so you are not alone.  Consider the points below to raise your degree of faith when it falters.

There is nothing more powerful than THE WORD OF GOD, THE BIBLE.  Don't ask me how that can be.  I don't know. I just believe it! When there is nowhere else to turn,  when nothing else can be done in a situation, God's word relieves!   God's word strengthens!  God's word  empowers a person to carry on.  God's word gives hope.  God's word gives life!  I don't try to explain it, I just accept it.

There are few gifts given us more wonderful than FRIENDS.  When we are low, we need one confidential friend we can turn to for comfort, for a word of encouragement.  This can be a ray of sunshine during dark days.  Recently my husband and I were both at a low ebb. We had faced some stressful situations.  We had been asked to give a Bible study at an assisted living  home near us.  We debated whether we were the right team to go that morning. We went.  What a wonderful time we had!  We had a serious time and then a fun time.  We left them with smiles on their faces, but just as  important, we were renewed.  We came home with a new mind set.  We had shared ourselves with these older people.  In turn, we had been helped by their warm smiles and open hearts.  It happens every time!

Faith can be renewed by NATURE.  Have you noticed the wind in the trees lately?  Have you watched the fluffy clouds as they make their way across the heavens? Will you be a witness to the changing colors of the season this year? No one, absolutely no one can change the order of the seasons.  No one can stop Winter from creeping up on us in a few weeks.    That tells us that there truly is Someone in charge of things.  There is an order to everything in the universe, including our being here at this particular time. Nature itself tells us God is alive and well and that means we are not alone.
      

There are those who don't believe in God. They would be the first to tell you that life is not worth living. We are here for only a little while. During this time, we decide who we believe in and who deserves our allegiance.  Think about it.*   It is the most important decision you will ever make.
