So what is love? The amount of written words about this subject is enormous. Everyone has thoughts on the subject. But words are elusive, when it comes to defining this wild, crazy, unyielding, sacrificial, self denying, compassionate, sweet, selfish, unconditional emotion. Each one of the previous words, and many more I am sure, have been a part of our relationship experience with this most powerful force in the world.
We love our parents, our spouse or significant other, our children, our pets, our job, our favorite ice cream, song, actor, season, color, perfume, and so on. And what about loving our self? Without self love, we're in trouble with all the other avenues of this emotion. Yet, self love is very harmful if we over indulge.
I think you will agree there's nothing like love! We know we need it, need to give it, need to show it. We know the world is a better place because of it. Here we discuss love of man and woman, parent and child, and the love of the God who started it all. Working on our personal relationships and making a choice to do this 'love' thing right, can change our life. We may not change the world, but we can change our world.
Love makes your soul crawl out from its hiding place.
